DOCUMENTATION
Everything Cuesheet does
A complete reference to every flow, screen, and capability — from the
moment you open the app to the moment you clip out.
Open the app and the right cuesheet is one tap from Start. Your collection is the home.
- 01
Always-ready home
The cuesheet you taught most recently on today's day-of-week is surfaced first. Your primary action is Start, not Build.
- 02
Seeded starter cuesheets
The Cuesheets tab is never empty — a hand-authored starter set covers varied class shapes from first launch.
- 03
Copy as a starting point
Duplicate any cuesheet and reshape it — segments, songs, and cues come along.
- 04
Class history
Every teaching captures an immutable snapshot. Browse past classes, and revert a cuesheet to any version you taught.
Open the cuesheet in the Builder. Drag, retime, reshape — every part is editable.
- 01
Cuesheet Builder
Two zoom levels — the class at a glance (shape, songs, transition), then drill into any song's cue timeline.
- 02
Drag to reorder
Drag songs to resequence the class — the class shape updates as you go.
- 03
Anchored bookends
Warm-up always opens; Cool-down always closes — no accidental reorder.
- 04
Beat-aligned cue pins
Cues land on the track timeline as colour-coded pins — tap one to retime it to the bar, drop, or chorus.
- 05
Cue grammar
Gear, RPM, and stand/sit — colour-coded, tapped in by you at the exact playback moment.
- 06
Author once, reuse everywhere
Cues live on the song. Place the same song in another cuesheet and your cues come with it.
Phone streams the music. The screen is your cue notebook — sweat-readable from clipped-in distance.
- 01
Bluetooth out, screen in
Phone streams to the studio speaker; the screen replaces your paper notebook.
- 02
Persistent target line
"BASE +5 · 60 RPM · SEATED" stays visible between explicit cues.
- 03
Animated countdowns
"Standing in 3 → 2 → 1" beats out at the track's BPM, large numerals.
- 04
Manual controls
Next Song, ±5s nudges, scrub, pause — recover instantly if the room runs ahead of the plan.
- 05
Background recovery
Phone locks mid-class? Resume within ±1 second of where you were.
SETUP
Connect & configure
Pair your music service, set defaults once, and tune Run mode to how you teach.
- 01
Connect Apple Music
Tap Allow when iOS asks for MusicKit access — playback control persists across launches.
- 02
Apple Music subscription
An active Apple Music subscription is required to play tracks. Authoring works without one.
- 03
Run-mode preferences
Auto-advance cues, keep-screen-on, crossfade, and transition-song length — all configurable.
- 04
Backup & restore
Export your cuesheets and class history to a file; import it on a fresh install. Everything stays on your device.
