- Cancel and Done really do clear the number pad now. 0.15.13 said it had fixed this; it had not, and no test could tell, because every gate run until today had a hardware keyboard attached to the simulator and so drew no pad at all. With the pad up, iOS re-sizes the sheet so that the bottom of the sheet is itself underneath the keyboard — anchoring the buttons to the sheet's bottom edge put them under the pad, which is what Peter photographed on his iPhone 16 Pro. The sheet now measures the keyboard and lifts its actions clear of it, at every text size. ---
- The Share diagnostics caption says what really happens. It claimed Cuesheet sends "anonymous" signals and that no "personal data" leaves your device. Both overstated it: every signal and crash report carries a random install identifier, so reports from one phone are linkable to each other. The switch now reads "Cuesheet sends usage signals and crash reports, tied to a random install ID rather than to you. No song titles or cuesheet content leave your device." The promise that holds — no song titles, no cuesheet content — is unchanged, and so is everything the switch does.
- A build that changes what the app sends now has to change the privacy page too. A new check in the ship gate fails the build if a change touches the code deciding what leaves the phone without anyone re-reading cuesheet.ca/privacy in the same change. It also keeps each of the two SDKs behind exactly one file. Testers see no difference; this is the promise on that page made enforceable.
- cuesheet.ca/privacy stops saying "anonymous" too, for the same reason as the in-app caption. The fuller policy rewrite is still in review.
Fixed
- A crash report can no longer carry a cuesheet or song title. iOS records a trail of the screens you opened and the buttons you tapped alongside a crash, and a screen title or button title on that trail could be text you wrote. Cuesheet now strips every title from that trail before a report leaves the phone, and again when an older report is sent on the next launch.
